  • Registration Deadline: December 15, 2024

  • Kick Off Meeting: (Tentative) February 2025 (Informational meeting, should be attended by one parent/guardian per participating skater)

  • Show Practices: March - April 2025, SUNDAY AFTERNOONS for Learn to Skate, Aspire, No Test to Senior Groups and Opening Numbers; other groups to be scheduled based on enrollment. NOTE: This year Aspire skater groups will NOT be rehearsing within their regular Aspire class.

  • Show Picture Day: March 23, 2025

  • Full Show Rehearsal: April 27, 2025

  • Mandatory Dress Rehearsal (evening): Friday, May 2, 2025

  • Ice Crystals MATINEE Performance: SATURDAY, May 3, 2025, 1:00 p.m.

  • Ice Crystals EVENING Performance: SATURDAY, May 3, 2025, 6:00 p.m.

 

** The schedule is subject to ice availability provided by NVO, and will be sent out mid February. Schedules will be communicated via eblast. Practice ice is generally Saturdays and/or Sundays. Anyone in the Advanced Skills group will have practices during their scheduled class time.

GROUP NUMBERS

Skaters must choose ONE of the following group options:

 

Learn to Skate Group Number 

$100.00 - Includes 1 Adult Show Ticket

  • The Learn to Skate group number is for skaters enrolled in NVO Learn to Skate program during the 2024-2025 season.  PLEASE NOTE: Skaters must continue enrollment in Learn to Skate through the date of the show.  If your skater is in Basic 5 or 6, and expected to transition out of Learn to Skate soon, please consider registering them for the Aspire group.

 

ASPIRE Advanced Skills Group Number 

$100.00 - Includes 1 Adult Show Ticket

  • The ASPIRE Advanced Skills group number is for skaters enrolled in the Colonial FSC ASPIRE Advanced Skills program during the 2023-2024 season.  Skaters must continue enrollment in the ASPIRE Advanced Skills program through the Spring session.

No Test - Senior Group Numbers

$175.00

  • Skaters selecting 'No-Test to Senior Group number' must be working with a private coach, and must be working on their Pre Preliminary (or higher) Skating Skills or Singles tests. Skaters will be divided into groups according to their level.

Adult Skater Group Number

$75.00

  • Adult skaters that are 18+

 

2024 NQS and Excel Series Competitor Group Number

$100.00

  • ($100.00 if only doing this group number; no charge if skater is doing the No-Test - Senior Group Number)
    For those who participated in the 2024 Excel Series and/or 2024 NQS Series.  

 

Graduating Senior Group Number ONLY

$50

  • A group number specifically for graduating seniors. Practices normally are on Wednesday evenings in April.

ADDITIONAL ADD-ON OPTIONS:

Skaters can choose from one of these optional add-ons after they have chosen one of the group numbers from the left hand column.

Opening Number

$125.00

  • A second group number at the start of the show. Skaters will receive a costume and have additional show practices for the Opening Number group. FULL MEMBERS who represent CFSC, and are NO-TEST or ABOVE, may apply for the Opening Number.  The opening number is not open to Learn to Skate or ASPIRE Advanced Skills members for the 2024 show.

Spotlight Solo

No Charge **No Test and Above**

  • FULL MEMBERS, who represent CFSC, and are NO-TEST or ABOVE, may apply for a SPOTLIGHT SOLO. A spotlight is a mini-solo, performed throughout the show, typically before or after the skater's group number. A lottery will be used to select the spotlight solos if there are too many applicants. SPOTLIGHT SOLO 1:15 MAX.  Spotlight solos are not open to Learn to Skate or ASPIRE Advanced Skills members for the 2024 show. 

  • If you plan to do a duet, BOTH skaters must register for a spotlight solo. Duets are at the discretion of the show director. 

 

Graduating Senior Solo

No Charge

  • Graduating Seniors will receive a SOLO in BOTH SHOWS, 1:30 min. MAX. They must also participate in a group number.

2024 NQS and Excel Series Competitor Solo

No Charge, must also participate in ONE group number, Skater must have competed in 2025 NQS or 2024 Excel Series

  • 2025 NQS or 2024 Excel Series competitors who represent CFSC and participate in ONE group number other than the Series Competitor number, will receive a SOLO in ONE SHOW, 1.45 min. MAX.

 

National or International Competitor Solo

No Charge

  • Any National and International competitors representing CFSC will receive a solo in BOTH SHOWS, 2:30 min. MAX.
